Russian militants continued shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area over the past 24 hours.

It was reported about 30 militants' attacks at Ukrainian soldiers over the past 24 hours (eight in the Donetsk sector and 22 in the Mariupol sector). The militants have significantly increased the number of attacks since 6 p.m. till midnight

According to the report, the militants fired at the ATO forces' positions at Marinka in the Mariupol sector from small arms, heavy machine guns, grenade launchers of various systems for about ten times. Talakivka, Bohdanivka and Pavlopil strongholds were mortared, while the Army's positions at Starohnativka, Vodiane and Novotroitske were fired from heavy machine guns, automatic grenade launchers and infantry fighting vehicles.

Eight militants' attacks were reported in the Donetsk sector. The ATO forces' positions at Avdiivka and Butovka mine were fired from heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and mortars.

The militants have also fired at Troitske and Luhanske strongholds from small arms and grenade launchers.

It was relatively calm in the Luhansk sector last night.
