 Nearly 10,000 killed, 20,000 injured, 1.8 million IDPs, - Poroshenko on consequences of Russian aggression in Donbas

About 10,000 people were killed in the Donbas as a result of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced today at a briefing following his meeting with Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"Nearly 10,000 killed, 20,000 injured, 1.8 million internally displaced persons," Poroshenko said in Kyiv on Friday referring to the consequences of the Russian aggression in the Donbas.

As reported, Russia initiated hybrid war in the Donbas following its occupation of the Ukrainian Crimean Peninsula.
