Deployment of military forces at Ukraine’s border is Russia’s sovereign right which poses no threat to its neighbors, - Peskov

The deployment of troops at Ukraine's border is the sovereign right of the Russian Federation.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was said by spokesperson to the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov asked by a UNIAN correspondent about the reasons for Russian troops' deployment in the Rostov region amid accusations of the Russian involvement in the conflict in the Donbas.

"As you know, we do not take these accusations seriously. We disagree with them," Peskov said.

"As for the deployment of our military units here or there, this is the sovereign right of the Russian Federation to freely move our military throughout our country. These maneuvers pose no threat to our neighbors at all," he said.
