Lutsenko gives Stoliarchuk, Matios 100 days to demonstrate objectivity and aggressiveness

Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko gave 100 days to his deputies Anatolii Matios and Yurii Stoliarchuk so that they could demonstrate objectivity and aggressiveness.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrinform, he said this at a press conference in Lviv.

"I have five depuites. Three of them are new people. These new people are 30-35 years old. None of them has previously worked in the prosecution. They are human rights activists, diplomats, lawyers. I kept those responsible for investigation - Mr Matios and Mr Stoliarchuk - to assess their work in the following 100 days. Those who say that it is a mistake are wrong. Firstly, I have no alternative. The new deputies will need at least a few months to go into the matter. For you to understand, the only case on Ukrhazvydobuvannia consists of a few dozen volumes," Lutsenko said.

According to him, all prosecutors, including military ones, have a chance now to demonstrate objectivity and aggressiveness. If they do not use it, Lutsenko will substitute them. This extends to top officials, including deputies and heads of departments.
