Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Defense minister Stepan Poltorak said that the demobilization was scheduled for June-July 2016.
According to him, the head of state supported this decision despite the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine's east.
The relevant documents drafted by the Defense Ministry officials by the order of Stepan Poltorak will be examined by the Presidential Administration next week and the corresponding decision will be taken.
Earlier, the decree on discharge of servicemen conscripted during the fourth military draft came into effect March 29, 2016. The presidential decree envisaged that 45,000 soldiers drawn to the color by the decrees of July 21, 2014 and Jan. 14, 2015 would be transferred to the reserve.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the decree No 328/2015 on partial demobilization in June 2015. Besides, the law increasing social welfare of discharged military was signed as well.
