 ‘Brothers-in Arms’: Russia to create patriotic camp for children of “law enforcers” eliminated in Donbas and Syria

A patriotic summer camp designed to host children from Russia, Syria, and Ukraine’s east starts operating in the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation.

First Deputy Head of the Vladimir Region Administration Viktor Kaurov told TASS correspondent, Censor.NET reports.

"The patriotic camp will be attended by 550 children from the regions of the Central and Volga Federal Districts, all municipal districts of Vladimir region, as well as children of perished members of the law enforcement agencies of Syria and south-eastern Ukraine (Donetsk and Luhansk)," Kaurov said.

The camp at the premises of the Kovrov training center will host children at the age between 10 and 14 years.

The official specified that in addition to Russians, there will be 20 children from Syria, 20 from Donetsk and 10 from Luhansk, who "will form the international company".

Teenagers will be engaged in sports activities, deal with creative work, undergo drilling.

"We already ran the federal patriotic camp Brothers-in Arms in the territory of the same military base (training center) last year. There were 130 children then. The scale is larger now," Kaurov said.

He noted that the camp is organized under the auspices of the Presidential Administration, Ministry of Defense, Vladimir Region Administration and Russian non-governmental veterans' organization Brothers-in Arms.
