Volodymyr Hroisman said following the negotiations, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"We discussed the progress in bilateral relations, the issues on further reforms, and support. I believe we'll be able to see that there are a number of vital projects that will continue to be implemented. They include support for judicial reform in Ukraine, support for decentralization, anti-corruption policy, economic issues," the prime minister said.
He also noted that the American side was interested in Ukraine's economic and energy independence.
"Ukraine will undergo internal changes in the nearest future and these changes will have an impact on the living standards situation improvement. The American partners support us institutionally, politically, and financially so that we will be able to implement these changes as fast as possible," Hroisman said.
He expressed confidence that Washington was deeply convinced of consensus on many issues existing between Ukraine and the United States but this was particularly true with respect to the idea that the Ukrainian state should become successful.
Earlier, Volodymyr Hroisman and Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Paul Ryan discussed the plans of the Ukrainian government for reforms, the fight against corruption, and the situation in the Donbas June 15.
