 Moscow follows Kyiv-NATO dialogue on reinforcement in Black Sea, - Russian Foreign Ministry

Moscow is closely watching the discussion between NATO and Ukraine on Kyiv's participation in strengthening the Aliance's military presence in the Black Sea.

This was announced by State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Karasin, Censor.NET reports citing gazeta.ru.

The Russian diplomat expressed hope that this dialogue will not lead to the escalation of danger in this region. "We reserve the right to take adequate counteractions against this," Karasin said.

The deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Moscow is "extremely serious and cautious" about the idea of Ukraine's possible joining of NATO's Black Sea group.
