He said this today in Brussels after a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission at the level of defense ministers, Censor.NET reports referring to NATO press service.
"The situation in eastern Ukraine, caused by Russia's actions, remains of concern. The cease-fire violations continue every day. And OSCE monitors continue to be hampered in their important work. The Minsk agreements remain the path to a sustainable solution. It is urgent that they are fully implemented by all parties," Stoltenberg said.
He also welcomed the release from Russian captivity of several more Ukrainian hostages, which in his opinion was also due to the Minsk agreements.
Earlier, Stoltenberg said that Russia bears special responsibility for the escalation of the situation in the Donbas.
