Interior Minister adviser Zorian Shkiriak said during his working trip to the area of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO), Censor.NET reports citing Interior Ministry's press service.
"Of course, any talks with terrorists are excluded. Zakharchenko, Plotnitsky, and Khodakovsky, and all other terrorist bastards must be brought to justice under Ukrainian laws. The world practice of dealing with terrorists defines one rule - they should not be talked to, but destroyed. So, any negotiations at the state level are out of question," Zorian Shkiriak stressed.
According to him, any talks with terrorists would imply their legitimization. Shkiriak admits there can be only certain consultations on exchanging prisoners.
"The only subject of negotiations that can be talked to in the context of international relations and the Donbas conflict is the Russian Federation, which orchestrates this process, being the aggressor country and the one who leads terrorist gangs. No talks are possible with the chieftains of militants. It's the issue of national security," Shkiriak noted.
