 Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv caught fire. PHOTOS

A fire broke out in the premises of the Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv in the morning Monday.

According to the report, the first and second floors of the building caught fire.

The press service of the Kyiv Directorate of the State Emergency Service later informed that the report on fire that broke out in the building of the Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv on 25 Maksym Kryvonos Street was received at 3:33 a.m. June 13.

"Upon arrival at the scene of fire, it was found that the fire started in the corridor on the 2nd floor of a three-storey building of the Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv. The total fire area was 30 square meters, while the smoke spread on the 3rd floor of the building. The fire was taken under control at 4:29 a.m. and completely extinguished at 4:37," the report reads.

Four fire teams and eight firefighting vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The exact cause of the fire is currently unknown.

No one was hurt as a result of the incident. Only a security guard was inside when the fire broke out.
