Censor.NET reports referring to the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center.
As noted, at Mariupol direction, the enemy fired 12 mortar rounds on Ukrainian troops' strongholds near Krasnohorivka and Novotroitske. In the vicinity of Marinka, Shyrokyne, and Talakivka, Russian mercenaries employed small arms, machine guns, and various types of grenade launchers. At around 11 p.m., an enemy tank fired three rounds on ATO forces' strong points near Krasnohorivka.
At the Donetsk direction, Ukrainian defenders came under attack near Avdiivka as terrorists fired grenade launchers and 122-mm self-propelled artillery (three rounds).
As also reported, militants employed 82-mm and 120-mm mortars in the vicinity of Pisky, Nevelske, and Toretske, while an IFV attack was carried out near Svitlodarsk.
From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., ATO forces' positions near Novhorodske were hit with heavy machine guns, various types of grenade launchers, an anti-aircraft gun, and an IFV. Terrorists fired 45 heavy mortar rounds and 27 122-mm SPG rounds.
At Luhansk direction, ATO forces' positions near Novozvanivka, Stanytsia Luhanska, Zhovte, and Novooleksandrivka were struck with heavy machine guns and various types of grenade launchers.
An increase in the activity of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been recently registered. In particular, a group of up to four people was spotted moving out from the Donetsk area towards ATO forces' positions near Marinka. Ukrainian fighters opened small arms fire, forcing the enemy to retreat. Two militants are reported to have been destroyed.
