Business Development Director of Naftohaz Yurii Vitrenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"Russia's energy minister says Gazprom will sell us gas for $177 in Q3. Taking into account the caloric content, the final price indicated in acts will be $182-183. He argues it is even lower than the market price. We do not agree. Yesterday, at the German market (NCG hub), the July price, for example, was less than $173.
"Therefore, we'll not buy gas from Gazprom under such conditions. We'll buy all the gas we need in the European market. Fortunately, we experience no problem here," Vitrenko said.
"Moreover, the fact that the price offered by Gazprom remains even higher than that of the German hubs will be a sufficient argument for us in the Stockholm arbitration," the official added.
Earlier, Russia's Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that the current estimated price of gas for Ukraine in Q2 was $177 per 1,000 cubic meters, which, according to him, corresponded to the market situation.
