As informed by Censor.NET, this is reported by Interfax-Ukraine correspondent.
This time, Mefedov was arrested within a criminal investigation of threats to the main witness of the prosecution regarding the events of May 2, 2014, especially those at the Hretska Square, Oleksandr Posmichenko.
Earlier, Mefedov was accused by court of disturbance of peace in court and arrested for 72 hours. Prior to that, Odesa regional appeals court released Russian citizen Mefedov, accused of the events of May 2, 2014, who had been arrested on May 28, 2016 on suspicion of threats to the witness.
On May 2, 2014, 48 people were killed and more than 200 received injuries in mass disorders in Odesa. Most of the victims of the tragedy were killed in the Unions House. The investigation has found that the disorders were organized and planned intentionally.
More than 10 criminal cases were opened by Ukrainian law enforcing agencies on different facts of the event. Some of them have been already passed to court.
