 Kyiv authorities to take all security measures during Equality March

Kyiv City State Administration intends to take all possible measures to ensure safety during the Equality March scheduled for June 12.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

"We must make every effort for the event to be held peacefully. This is why we have gathered representatives of all involved agencies to discuss coordination. And all of them assured of their full readiness to maintain order. If coordination requires additional meetings and consultations, we will hold them," Kyiv City State Administration Deputy Head Hennadii Plis said at a meeting with representatives of law enforcement agencies, fire protection service, and ambulance authorities.

He also urged Kyiv residents and guests to be tolerant, respect each other, and refrain from aggressive actions.

"This is the test for our humane attitude. Kyiv is the capital that strives for consistent equality and sees European development as its priorityб and we have the opportunity to confirm this," Hennadii Plis said.
