Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.
The latest update reads: "The pro-Russian gangs committed the fiercest assaults on our strongholds at the Donetsk section of the front, in particular, in the suburbs of the occupied city of Donetsk.
"The militants continued intensively firing at the areas near Avdiivka using small arms, high-caliber machine guns of various systems, grenade launchers and 82-mm mortars.
"The Russian mercenaries fired 18 rounds with 122-mm self-propelled guns at the defenders of Butivka mine in blatant violation of the Minsk Agreements.
"The enemy shelled the ATO forces' positions near Maiorsk and Zaitseve with 82-mm and 120-mm mortars twice.
"At the Mariupol section of the front, the enemy also shelled the Ukrainian troops' strongholds near Novotroitske with 82-mm mortars and employed small arms on the outskirts of Shyrokyne and Marinka.
"The enemy was trying to invite Ukrainian soldiers' retaliation, indiscriminately firing at their positions in the vicinity of Stepne village at the Luhansk section of the front, using machine guns and anti-tank guided missiles."
According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Russian-terrorist groups have killed 10,000 and injured more than 20,000 Ukrainians. Some 1.8 million people have been forced to leave their homes.
