She said it on air of Radio Era, Censor.NET reports.
In phone conversation with Nadiia Savchenko, who is currently visiting Ukraine's east, she stressed that the Minsk agreements can not stop the war but they stopped the barrage. When asked how to resolve the situation in the Donbas, she suggested three steps. In particular, she called for seeking mutual understanding and noted the importance of mutual forgiveness. She added that both Chechen and Dagestani scenarios are unsuitable for the Donbas as Ukraine needs to refrain from carnage.
"There are three steps. First, the sanctions against Russia should be extended. as it has not yet realized it has to withdraw. Second, we should launch direct, internal talks beyond the Minsk agreements with the "DPR" and "LPR", excluding any third or fourth party," the deputy stressed.
"Mr Zakharchenko and Mr Plotnytskyi may be represented as people's deputies of the "DPR" and "LPR". I am ready to talk to them as an MP," Savchenko added.
"Third, let's smile at each other and we'll succeed," she said.
