The relevant congratulation message has been published on president's official website, Censor.NET reports.
"In the context of Russia's aggression in the Donbas and Crimea, the information front is of the same importance as our defense lines in the area of military conflict. Powerful information attacks by the northern neighbor motivate you to be even more responsible, careful, and unbiased. I would like to express special gratitude to those fearless journalists who provide coverage of Donbas hot spots under constant fire, debunking myths and legends of the Russian propaganda," the president remarked.
Poroshenko also noted he will continue "to take efforts to protect freedom of expression and development of free and independent media in Ukraine."
He wished reporters good health, happiness, inspiration, and successful implementation of creative projects and ideas.
