This was announced by SBU Head Adviser Yurii Tandit on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reports.
"Speaking of losses, we have to remember that we continue searching for 642 persons who went missing. We have to return all of our heroes, including bodies. We have to return the heroes to their beloved ones, to be buried according to our traditions. In addition, 113 our guys, hostages, are being held as of today in Donetsk and Luhansk," Tandit said.
As reported earlier, as of May 26, 2016, 114 people were kept hostages in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donbas, 655 were deemed missing, and 11 political prisoners were illegally held in Russia, SBU deputy head and head of the Coordination center for prisoners' release Yurii Tandit said. According to data by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, as of May 27, 2016, at least 174 Ukrainian citizens remain in captivity: 10 of them in Russia, 20 in the occupied Crimea, and 144 in the Donbas.
