A Crimean Tatar man has been apprehended on suspicion of deforestation in the occupied Crimea in 2012.

Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelialov wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"A Crimean Tatar man, father of three children Smail Mustafaiev (born 1962) has been apprehended in the village of Krasnyi Mak on suspicion of deforestation in 2012. He was brought to the Northern Department of the Sevastopol police," he wrote.
