Eight military were wounded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) on June 2, no one was killed. However, a soldier wounded on June 1 died in the hospital yesterday.

This was announced by Presidential Administration speaker on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko, Censor.NET informs.

"Yesterday, no Ukrainian military were killed in combat activities, eight soldiers received injuries. These losses were incurred by the ATO forces at the Donetsk region due to enemy shelling. In particular, this happened in Zaitseve, Novoselivka Druha, and Avdiivka.

"In addition, one soldier, who was gravely wounded in Zaitseve the day before yesterday, June 1, died in the hospital," he said.

As reported, over the past two years, Russian-terrorist groups have killed 10,000 and injured more than 20,000 Ukrainians, NSDC says. Some 1.8 million people have been forced to leave their homes.
