9,371 people killed, 21,523 wounded in Donbas since April 2014, - UN

Since the beginning of hostilities in the Donbas, 9,371 people have died and 21,523 more suffered injuries, according to a report by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

"According to the latest report on Ukraine by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, some 9,371 people have been killed and 21,532 others injured in eastern Ukraine since the conflict began in mid-April 2014," a press release on the report presentation notes, Censor.NET reports citing OHCHR press service.

According to Assistant Secretary General for Human Rights Ivan Šimonović, who spoke after the presentation in Kyiv on Friday, many people went missing as a result of the conflict.
