Russia gave no consent for OSCE armed police mission deployment in Donbas, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister says

Russia did not give its consent on the deployment of the OSCE armed police mission in the Donbas but agreed to discuss this issue in appropriate formats.

This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin, Censor.NET reports citing Russian Interfax.

"There are special negotiation formats to discuss these issues. First of all, this is the [Trilateral] Contact Group, which will meet in Minsk, as well as the OSCE, which is the one to take the relevant decision," he said.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine was actively holding talks with the international partners regarding the OSCE armed police mission deployment in the Donbas to ensure security in the region.
