Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center as at 6 a.m. June 1.
According to the Staff, the militants have carried out 15 attacks at the Donetsk section of the front, 14 at the Mariupol one, and two more at Luhansk direction. More than a half of the cases of cease-fire violations were recorded at dusk.
It was also reported that the militants employed small arms, automatic grenade launchers, and 82-mm mortars against the ATO forces' strong points south of Avdiivka from temporarily occupied Donetsk and its suburbs. They also fired 28 rounds with 82-mm mortars at Opytne from Spartak village.
"The enemy employed small arms, automatic grenade launchers and snipers against Ukrainian soldiers in the vicinity of Novhorodske, as well as grenade launchers of various systems and 82-mm mortars near Luhanske," the situation report reads.
According to the Staff, the number of attacks has also increased at the Mariupol section of the front: the enemy shelled Ukrainian forces on the outskirts of Pavlopil with 120-mm mortars and employed large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers, and 82-mm mortars near Shyrokyne.
The militants committed shelling with an automatic grenade launcher near Talakivka and fired at the Ukrainian fortified positions near Novotroitske with an anti-tank grenade launcher.
"The enemy snipers intensified attacks along the entire demarcation line," the ATO Staff press center added.
