U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt told journalists in Kyiv on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
According to Pyatt, he was rather impressed with Lutsenko's first staff decisions - new appointments in the PGO and the abolition of previous wrong decisions, in particular as regards the anti-corruption center.
He noted that such decisions by Lutsenko were rather encouraging. Pyatt hopes they will contribute to PGO's positive image within society, while all those compromised will be fired.
Rome was not built in one day, but it's a good start, the ambassador remarked.
