 Olha Kharlan's victory in Moscow Sabre honored by Ukrainian anthem. VIDEO

Legendary Ukrainian Olha Kharlan won her Moscow Sabre Grand Prix title.

As reported by Censor.NET, Kharlan overcame Korea's Jiyeon Kim in the quarter-finals 15:12, before progressing past Russia's Gavrilova 15:9 in their semi-final encounter.

In the final, Olha fenced with another Olympic champion - American Mariel Zagunis.

Kharlan confidently started the fight and led 8:2. After that, the experienced American virtually recouped, making the score 14:13 in favor of the Ukrainian. Finally, Kharlan concentrated and prevented her opponent from leveling the score, winning 15:13.

During the awards ceremony, Ukraine's anthem was played to honor Kharlan's victory.
