Political expert and former Party of Regions MP (2004-2008) Taras Chornovil says he is to do with the party's so-called slush funds and ready to testify about this in the NABU.

As reported by Censor.NET, he announced this on air of Espreso.TV's talk show.

"There were a lot of funds. Each Party of Regions leader had his own fund. Personal money, personal influence. Very often, Kliuiev's [Party of Regions deputy chairman - ed.] funds were used to buy places in the list of Batkivshchyna. Then, they bought those who had already quit Batkivshchyna in 2006-2007," he said.

Chornovil also noted he personally knew people for whom Kliuiev paid 3 million to Tymoshenko each year so that these people were on Batkivshchyna's party list.

Also, according to the ex-deputy, there was an election fund and a rally fund.

Chornovil admits his name may appear in the relevant documents as he received money from Party of Regions members.

He added he was ready to testify about the said slush funds in the NABU.
