 Poroshenko appoints Herasymov his envoy in Rada, - Klympush-Tsyntsadze

Vice Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze announced of the president's intent to appoint Petro Poroshenko Bloc MP Artur Herasymov presidential envoy in the Verkhovna Rada.

This was announced by the Office of the vice prime minister on European and Euro-Atlantic integration on its Facebook page, Censor.NET informs.

"Soon this information will become official. We welcome the decision to appoint Artur Herasymov presidential envoy in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This is the person linked to the vice prime minister due to support of Ukraine's interests and opposing Russian aggression at various international, parliamentary, and public platforms," the message reads.

"Artur Herasymov is pro-active, efficient, and very responsible head of Ukraine's parliamentary delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE. In addition, he helped to and participated in providing direct preliminary information about the course of the events in the east of Ukraine to our partners in all PAs where Ukraine is presented. I believe that his new appointment will build quality and positivity to the trilateral dialogue between the parliament, the government, and the president," the text reads.

"We hope that now the Ukrainian authorities will start working jointly, and the results of such work will be fast and efficient," the office of Klympush-Tsyntsadze wrote.

Later, a decree No 227/2016 by president of Ukraine was published on presidential website, titled "On appointing Artur Herasymov presidential envoy in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine."

"To appoint Artur Volodymyrovych Herasymov presidential envoy in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (upon his consent)," the decree reads.
