Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.
As noted, the last night in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) was restless. After reducing their activity in the afternoon, pro-Russian paramilitary groups continued to resort to more intensive armed provocations in the dark.
The enemy repeatedly attacks Ukrainian army positions on the outskirts of temporarily occupied Donetsk and Horlivka: "In the evening, militants struck ATO forces' strong points south of Avdiivka two times, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and 82-mm mortars. The same caliber was employed to hit our strongholds near Zaitseve, while Marinka's defenders were attacked with small arms."
Ukrainian army positions near Luhanske (the Horlivka-Svitlodarsk salient) came under IFV fire thrice.
The situation near Mariupol was strained as well: "Terrorists attacked Shyrokyne with heavy machine guns and grenade launchers. In the vicinity of Novotroitske, militants again suffered losses. Using an anti-tank missile system, pro-Russian gangs tried to defeat our units. However, Ukrainian soldiers fired back and destroyed the weapon."
As also reported, Russian-occupying troops have stepped up their activity in the Luhansk region: "Our strong points near Novozvanivka came under machine gun, anti-aircraft gun, and IFV fire, while terrorists employed grenade launchers in the vicinity of Stanytsia Luhanska.
"Over the past day, six enemy recon drones were spotted in the ATO area," the report notes.
