 Poroshenko announces future release of Ukrainian hostages Soloshenko and Afanasiev held in Russia, expects progress in 3-4 weeks

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expects progress in the release of Ukrainian hostages Yurii Soloshenko and Hennadii Afanasiev illegally held in the Russian Federation not later than in three or four weeks.

Poroshenko said opening session of the National Reform Council, Censor.NET informs citing 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"I can already voice that Soloshenko and Afanasiev, whose health has significantly deteriorated, are going to be released. We expect progress in this issue. At the same time, I would like to thank Iryna Herashchenko for the return of our prisoners. We expect progress not later than in three or four weeks," Poroshenko said.
