Savchenko’s exchange for Russian commandos settled by Normandy Four leaders during telephone negotiation, - Hollande

Nadiia Savchenko’s release and return to Ukraine was the result of agreement reached by the leaders of Ukraine, France, Germany, and Russia during the telephone conversation on May 23.

The Elysee Palace announced on Wednesday, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"President of the Republic welcomes today's exchange of prisoners carried out as part of commitments reached during a Normandy Four telephone negotiation on May 23. The negotiation, in particular, helped return Ukrainian pilot Nadiia Savchenko back to Ukraine,' Hollande's administration reports.
