 GRU officers Yerofeyev and Aleksandrov appeal to Poroshenko for pardon, - lawyer

The appeal for pardon of Russian citizens Yevgeny Yefofeyev and Alexander Aleksandrov has been filed to President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Aleksandrov's lawyer Valentin Rybin to TASS.

"The appeal for pardon of Russian citizens Yevgeny Yefofeyev and Alexander Aleksandrov has been filed to President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko," the lawyer said. He didn't say who exactly filed the appeal.

According to Rybin, the same procedure is currently underway in Russia with Nadiia Savchenko.

"This is the same procedure. By the evening we will understand the result of the exchange (of Yerofeyev and Aleksandrov for Savchenko)," Rybin noted.
