Censor.NET reports citing the General Staff's press service.
"A small patch of land on the eastern outskirts of Avdiivka in the Donbas has been the hottest spot in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) for several months now. Here, Ukrainian fighters courageously hold the line under attacks of illegal armed groups.
"Over the past few days, the intensity of fire has grown significantly. Militants are increasingly using Minsk-prohibited weapons: cannon artillery and 120-mm mortars.
"Sometimes, Ukrainian soldiers have to withstand attacks lasting for several hours on. Gunfire is almost nonstop, grenades keep arriving, snipers are more active. Sabotage groups come closer to positions with heavy armored vehicles making their appearance every now and then," the General Staff reported and published photos from the front.
