The militants intensified attacks along the frontline in the Luhansk region yesterday, May 21.

Thus, Novozvanivka village (Popasna district of the Luhansk region) was fired from small arms, automatic grenade launchers, anti-tank grenade launchers, anti-aircraft guns, and mortars since 6 till 7 p.m.

Ukrainian strongholds at Triokhizbenka (Novoaidarskyi district of the Luhansk region) were fired from small arms and automatic grenade launchers from 10 p.m. tol 11 p.m. The terrorists fired at Ukrainian soldiers at Krymske from small arms and automatic grenade launchers at about 5 a.m..

Stanytsia Luhanska was fired at again. It was reported about militants' attacks with the use of small arms, heavy machine guns and automatic grenade launchers at local stronghold and a railway bridge from 9 p.m. to midnight. Fortunately, no one was injured in the shelling.

"The terrorists intensified attacks throughout the frontline in the Luhansk region. They want the Ukrainian side to close Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint. This will allow them accusing us of the Minsk agreements violation. However, the Ukrainian military did not fire back," head of the Luhansk CMA Yurii Harbuz said.
