Poroshenko asked Germany to accelerate deploying of OSCE armed police mission in Donbas

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with President of France Francois Hollande and Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Presidential Administration.

The parties stated that the security situation in Donbas remained complicated despite the cease-fire arrangements achieved on the eve of Easter.

In this context, the President emphasized the need for compliance with the cease-fire regime by the militants and admission of the OSCE to all border areas, so that the supply of Russian weaponry to the occupied territories of the Donbas is terminated.

The parties agreed that security was the main condition for continuation of political settlement of the situation.
