Occupied Luhansk left without water. Terrorists do not allow to fix the problem, - Luhansk civil–military administration

Petrovske-Luhansk main water pipe was damaged in an accident in the Luhansk region. As a result, the city of Luhansk as well as a number of nearby towns was left with no water supply.

Censor.NET reports citing the Luhansk CMA.

The accident occurred at a siphon, which runs along the bottom of the Siverskyi Donets River, in the Stanytsia-Luhanska district along the demarcation line.

Ukraine agreed the restoration works with the OSCE SMM representatives. At the same time, the SMM informs that workers of water-supply companies were not allowed to cross the river.

"It is needed to reach an alternate inverted siphon (which also runs along the rivers' bottom) in order to fix the problem. Thus, the repair crews need access to the both shores of the river. But one of them is controlled by Ukrainian troops, while the other is under the militants' control. Unfortunately, the illegal armed forces haven't given the green light yet," head of the Luhansk CMA Yurii Harbuz said.
