Russian officer, who was awarded title of Hero of Russian Federation for slaying Ukrainians in Donbas, killed in bus crash in Russian-occupied South Ossetia. PHOTOS

Six Russian officers were killed and more than 16 were injured as the bus they were travelling by fell off the cliff on a mountain road between Tskhinvali and Kanchavet in South Ossetia May 19. Among those killed was Tulpar Musalayev who served in the 19th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade.

Journalist Ivan Siyak wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET informs.

"32-year-old hero of Russia Tulpar Musalayev turned out to be one of those killed in the accident in the South Ossetia. He was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation in December 2015 according to the secret order," the journalist quotes a friend of the deceased officer.

He also noted that Major Tulpar Musalayev was born in Khasavyurt. He graduated from the Kazan Higher Military Command School and served at the military base No. 20634 in recent years.
