"Guided by its imperial ambitions, the Kremlin has annexed the peninsula and makes every effort to destroy Crimean Tatars' national consciousness, historical memory, cultural traditions, and dignity," Turchynov said.
"The entire civilized world has condemned the actions of the Putin's regime while Jamala's voice conveyed this truth to millions of people around the world from the stage of Eurovision.
"The brutal force will never defeat the truth and justice! The aggressor will never break the spirit of the Crimean Tatar people! Crimea is Ukraine!" he summed up.
