The Kyiv Armored Plant, which is part of State Concert Ukroboronprom, has developed new advanced machine-gun and grenade launching station for combat vehicles.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of Ukroboronprom.

The weapon station is equipped with sophisticated computer-aided fire control system Kashtan developed by Kyiv's research and production enterprise AT-system. It is designed for remote control of weapon systems equipped with video cameras.

Kashtan system allows monitoring targets at a distance of 1,800-8,000 meters in daylight hours and at a distance of 600-2,000 meters at night. It detects targets like IFVs at a range of 500-4,000 meters in just 15 seconds.
