 “We will be able to start debate on parliamentary reform as early as on Thursday,” – Rada Speaker Parubii

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andrii Parubii promises the hard work in the parliament during the upcoming plenary week on May 17-20.

"We are going to have extremely intense plenary week. We have a large number of government initiatives that need to be urgently adopted," Parubii said opening a meeting of the coordination board of factions' leaders, parliamentary committees and groups on Monday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

He also expressed hope that the parliament would begin considering the bill on the Verkhovna Rada reform and informed that the consultation on the reform of the parliament had been already held on Monday. "I expect the relevant law to be also registered tomorrow and we will be able to start the debate on the reform of the parliament on Thursday," the speaker said.

Andrii Parubii recalled that this issue was of paramount importance and would help make the parliament's work more efficient.
