 EP to check how Ukraine spends EU's financial aid

A delegation of the European Parliament will visit Kyiv on May 16-17 in order to verify the proper spending of the EU's financial aide allocated to carry out reforms in Ukraine.

As noted, the MEPs, who are members of the Budget Control Committee, will visit Ukraine within the framework of the audit of the use of financial support for stabilization and reform in Ukraine, provided by the EU after the Maidan revolution.

The parliamentarians plan to check how this aid is spent on the ground in Ukraine, as well as in the context of the fight against corruption and the influence of the EU's funding on it.
