 Ukraine and Turkey agree on FTA negotiations soonest conclusion, - Trade Commissioner Mykolska

Ukraine and Turkey have agreed to finalize as soon as possible the negotiations on the free trade area (FTA) agreement conclusion on balanced and mutually advantageous conditions.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Trade Commissioner of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska reported summarizing the results of Ukrainian-Turkish talks held in Kyiv, Censor.NET informs citing the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

The parties also agreed to carry out negotiations on amending the intergovernmental agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax deviation, as well as the agreement on the mutual promotion and protection of investments signed in 1996.

Mykolska added that the parties also reached agreements on the revival of trade this year, the increase in exports and Turkish investments in Ukraine's economy.
