PM instructed health minister to solve problem with lack of medicines for cancer patients of Okhmatdyt

Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman has instructed acting health minister Viktor Shafranskyi to solve the issue with lack of medicines for cancer patients in the Okhmatdyt National Children's Clinic by the end of the day.

The PM said this during the 'questions to the government hour' in the Verkhovna Rada, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"Today, a minimal inventory of medicines is present, that's information by regional state administrations and regional councils. If we have problems with Okhmatdyt, I will order to the acting health minister to solve the problem of lack of medicines by the end of the day. Possibly, with redistribution," he said.

Hroisman added that the first deputy health minister Oleksandra Pavlenko was dismissed earlier due to insufficient activities on drug supplies.

He also stressed that international organizations continue supplying medicines, despite the fact that the process had been blocked earlier.
