 Militants violated cease-fire 10 times yesterday, used banned mortars at Donetsk direction, - Staff

Situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area remains unquiet. During the past day, 10 cases of pro-Russian militants' use of weapons against Ukrainian soldiers were recorded.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in its report as of 6 a.m. May 13, posted on Facebook.

"At Donetsk direction, pro-Russian gangs shelled positions of the ATO forces two times near Avdiivka. The enemy was using grenade launchers of various systems, small arms, large-caliber machine guns, mortars of 82-mm caliber, and Minsk-banned 120-mm mortars," the message reads.

At the Luhansk region, according to the Staff, militants opened fire from small arms and rifle-attached grenade launchers upon defenses of the ATO forces near Stepove and Novozvanivka.

"At Mariupol direction, late night yesterday militants shelled one of our strong points near Novotroitske with automated grenade launchers," the ATO press center noted.
