 Militants attacked Ukrainian troops five times today, employed banned mortars, IFV guns and grenade launchers, - Staff

The Russian-terrorist forces continue using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements against the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) troops in eastern Ukraine.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the ATO Staff press center.

"The illegal armed groups shelled the ATO forces' strongholds in the vicinity of Novotroitske at the Mariupol section of the front before dawn thrice, using 82-mm and 120-mm mortars. The militants employed small arms against our soldiers defending Shyrokyne at the same section of the front.

"The militants fired at the Ukrainian Army strongholds near Krymske (the Luhansk region) with IFV-mounted guns, automatic grenade launchers, and high-caliber machine guns at noon," the statement reads.
