This is announced by the Main Intelligence Department of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
"On May 7, three killed soldiers were delivered to the mortuary of the first city hospital in Makiivka, and six more wounded from the 1st separate battalion of special purpose (Donetsk) of the 1st army corps of the Russian Armed Forces were received in the hospital," the message reads.
The soldiers are commanded by Russian Army Major Sukuev, 37 years old, native of Buryatiya, who arrived to the occupied territories of the Donbas in March 2015 from the post of the commander of separate recon battalion of the 33rd separate motorized rifle brigade (Maykop) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation Armed Forces.
"On May 8, as a result of the explosion at own mine field, one soldier was killed and one was wounded from the personnel of the 3rd separate motorized rifle brigade (Horlivka), and one soldier of the 11th separate motorized rifle regiment (Makiivka) was injured as well during an unsuccessful ingress with a sabotage and recon group," the message reads.
In addition, Ukrainian intelligence has confirmed that a unit of Russian soldiers from Chechnya is currently deployed within the so-called 100th separate motorized rifle brigade (Donetsk) of the 1st army corps.
Two soldiers have been identified: Renat Yelmulirzaev, 1981-born, and Khalid Umarov, 1982-born.
