 Police apprehended seven people for public order violation in Dnipropetrovsk

The police have detained seven participants of rallies held in Dnipropetrovsk on Monday on suspicion of public order offense.

The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region reported, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"The police officers searched seven suspicious participants of rallies and found a stun gun, a gas pistol converted into a traumatic one, two knives, and pepper spray on them. All public disturbers were taken to Babushkynskyi police precinct in Dnipropetrovsk," the report reads.

The marches and rallies were attended by more than 6,000 people totally.

It should be reminded that 25,000 law enforcement officers maintain public order on the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation on May 8 and the Victory Day over Nazism in World War II on May 9.
