Shkiriak noted that Ukrainian law enforcement officers continue to serve in emergency mode throughout the country.
In order to deter and prevent acts of provocation, which can be prepared by the Russian special services together with representatives of destructive pro-Russian political forces and organizations in Ukraine, counter-terrorism measures are introduced in major Ukrainian cities.
"More than 25,000 police officers and soldiers of the National Guard are on duty 24/7. The law enforcers are determined and will rigidly and adequately respond to any attempts to destabilize the situation in Ukraine," Shkiriak said.
