 Poroshenko awarded Heroine Mother title to over thousand Ukrainian women

President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree awarding the Heroine Mother title to 1,085 Ukrainian women.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the president.

The honorary title was awarded to the mothers who have raised five and more children to the age of eight, creating the right conditions for their education, as well as physical, intellectual and spiritual development.

Women from different regions were awarded as follows: 48 women from the Vinnytsia region; 79 from the Volyn region; 30 from the Dnipropetrovsk region, 23 from the Donetsk region; 64 from the Zhytomyr region, 202 from the Zakarpattia region, 22 from the Zaporizhia region, 91 from the Ivano-Frankivsk region, 41 from the Kyiv region; 18 from the Kirovohrad region, 12 from the Luhansk region, 61 from the Lviv region, 12 from the Mykolaiv region; 66 from the Odesa region, 17 from the Poltava region; 143 from the Rivne region; 12 from the Sumy region; 33 from the Ternopil region, 26 from the Kharkiv region, 29 from the Kherson region, 10 from the Khmelnytskyi region, 23 from the Cherkasy region, 15 from the Chernihiv region, and eight from the city of Kyiv.
