Motherland Monument in Kyiv again crowned by chaplet of red poppies. PHOTOS

Just like a year ago, the Motherland Monument in National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II in Kyiv has been crowned by a chaplet of red poppies again. It symbolizes the Days of Remembrance and Reconciliation for those who lost their lives during World War II for all Europeans.

Censor.NET informs citing the statement by the museum.

The report reads: "The memorial is being prepared for Days of Remembrance when the whole world pays tribute to the participants and victims of the World War II. We follow the tradition that managed to catch the fancy of the Kyiv residents and guests for the second consecutive year: the Motherland Monument in Kyiv was crowned by gorgeous chaplet of red poppies!"
